Getting started

New here

  1. Register an account using the Register link in the top bar. One account holds up to 30 characters.
  2. Download the client from the Download page and run it.
  3. Create a character and go through the Training Grounds. The Job Advisor there previews every first job visually before you commit.
  4. Pick a first job, then head to Prontera. Almost every custom service on this server sits within a few steps of the fountain.
  5. Check the Ledger at Prontera to see where you stand against everyone else.

How the rankings work

Your standing is always shown

Each tab lists the top ten, and your own character. Your row is highlighted and carries a You badge so it is easy to pick out.

Staff accounts are excluded

GM accounts are filtered out of every standing. Testing and moderation activity is not included.

Key feature

Loyalty Points

Account-wide

Loyalty Points reward time actually spent playing. They accrue automatically once an hour while you are online, and the balance is shown in your inventory footer as LP.

Hourly rate

Session hour Points per hour
Hours 1–2 5 points
Hours 3–4 10 points
Hour 5 onward 15 points
The ramp resets daily

The rate climbs the longer you stay in one sitting and restarts each calendar day. , six hours comes to 60 points, twelve hours comes to 150.

Away from keyboard

Being idle for more than 30 minutes pays half for that hour.

Vending and chat rooms earn nothing

Vending, autotrading or sitting in a chat room earns no points, and that hour does not advance the ramp either, the clock simply waits.

Shared across your account

Points belong to the account rather than a single character, so every character you play contributes to the same balance. They cannot be traded, dropped or sold.

Key feature

Loyalty Shop

Where Loyalty Points are spent. A shop with a live preview of every item on your own character.

Shop tab

Browse the full catalogue with prices in points. Selecting an item shows its description and stats, and renders it on your character. Items you cannot yet afford show exactly how many more points you need.

Info tab

A built-in explanation of how Loyalty Points are earned, so the rules are available at the point of spending.

Stock

Costume backpacks, costume headgear and a selection of accessories.

Key feature

Headgear Atelier

A catalogue of headgear that can be commissioned.

See it before you commit

Selecting a design renders it on your own character, rotatable, alongside its full description and stats.

Live material tracking

Every required material is listed as carried against required, updating as you collect them, with the atelier fee shown up front. Accepted commissions go to your Quest Log and the window tells you the moment everything is ready to turn in.

Search and filter

Search by name, or filter to just the quests you have already accepted.

Key feature

Card announcements

Every card that drops from a monster is announced to the entire server, naming the finder, the card and the monster it came from. Card drops are rare enough to be worth celebrating. and it makes the Card Records standing in the Ledger something you can watch happen live.

Enhancements

Reworked UI

A number of services that were traditionally menu trees have been rebuilt as proper windows.

A character restyled at the Stylist
Stylist

Every hairstyle, hair colour and clothing colour is drawn as your own character in pages, so a look is chosen by seeing it rather than by cycling through numbers one at a time and trying to remember the last one.

Costume Converter

Converts eligible equipment into its costume counterpart, listing only the exact items in your inventory that qualify.

A costume converted at the Costume Converter
A Rogue using a copied skill
Plagiarism catalogue

The Master Rogue's skill list presented with class tabs and icon tiles, mirroring the Skill Tree rather than a flat menu.

Job Advisor

A visual browser for the first-job decision, previewing each path and its skills before you choose.

Kafra Passport

The account-wide Kafra town network drawn as a passport, with fees and unlocks still handled entirely by the server.

Inventory, storage and skill list

Rebuilt with modern layouts, working scrollbars and currency tracking for Zeny, Kafra Coins and Loyalty Points in the inventory footer.

And more...

Plenty of smaller reworks are scattered throughout the client. The best way to find them is to play.

Enhancements

Quality of life

The interface goes where you want it

Player info, EXP bars, hotbars, minimap, chat, target frame, buff bar, quest tracker and the FPS readout can each be dragged anywhere on screen, resized independently, and hidden outright. Settings keeps a layout editor listing every element with exact coordinates, a size slider and a reset, so a layout can be nudged precisely or put back in one click.

Four independent hotbars

Rather than one fixed bar, there are four, each placed and sized on its own and shaped as a row of nine, two rows, a 3×3 block or a vertical strip. Every slot prints its own key binding in the corner, and using a skill sweeps a cooldown dial over its icon.

Party frames with live buffs

Party members can be pulled out into their own compact frames showing class, HP and the buffs currently on them, each buff counting down to expiry. Nearly everything about them is adjustable: size, corners, outlines and shadows, which details are shown, and where the buff icons and their timers sit.

Your own buffs, at a glance

Status effects get a dedicated bar you can run horizontally or vertically, with remaining duration on each icon and tooltips you can pin to whichever side suits your layout.

Themes and readable text

Dark and light presets, with every surface, border, text and accent colour editable individually if neither suits. Interface and font size scale separately, so the UI can be made larger without the text becoming unreadable, or the reverse.

Monster kill tracking

Lifetime kill counts are recorded per character for every species, and feed the Ledger's kill standings.

Achievements and quest log

The achievement system is enabled, with a reworked quest log and quest helper.

Generous character slots

30 characters per account, so alts do not compete for space.
